Collaboration
- work with others
- share ideas
- reach an understanding
- jointly develop a goal or series of goals
Collaboration begins with a conversation as a means to an end. It is building a relationship with a person in order to provide students with opportunities to be academically successful and personally responsible for their own learning. Collaboration is a desire to reach a goal with someone else as a team. It is about sharing ideas so all students are learning and having their needs met. Collaboration is mutually desired and productive when the collaborating parties see the other as valuable to the goal, the end in sight.
